Before I forget, this weekend is Sue Haywood's retirement party at Mt Snow. I think it starts at the Trek trailer at 6pm but I'm sure it will spill over to the Silo and the surrounding area before the night is over. I hope I don't drink any Moonshine.
The weather back here has been awesome again. I don't know what's going on but it's been sunny and warm, not too humid. That's all suppose to change tomorrow though with temperatures expected to head into the 90s and the humidity is expected to spike as well.
This weekend I flatted half way through the cross country with a cut sidewall. I had a faulty tube also and that meant either destroy a wheel riding to the techzone or pull the plug. I decided to save my equipment and opt for a long ride home instead.
Sunday was the short track and I netted my 2nd only short track win of my career. Rude was off the front until his pedal broke and he had to soft pedal into in the finish.
Just ordered a couple of bike boxes from Colordao Cyclist. They have those light plastic boxes so I'm going to try them out and see how they hold up.
Not too much going on other then that. The sea level sleep has been good and the training too.
I wonder what Winstons' doing right now....
