And I mean light. I have done a little bit of riding this week and running too. I'm sore everywhere from running. It's amazing how fit you can be for one motion and unfit for all others. I did a little mountain bike ride the other day and I was glad I had my full suspension bike so my butt didn't get too sore. I only got chased by one dog which is pretty good for down here. There is a direct correlation between dogs and the equator. The closer you get to the equator, the more dogs try to eat you while riding.
Meg's parents and our niece, Ayda made it down for a few days. Plus Rude and Alison and Brian and Lera and it's like we know everyone here. That's a lot of ands. We all went to Anclote yesterday. It's a nice little beach about half an hour away that is super sheltered and great for swimming. Winston did his first ever ocean swim yesterday.
Check out this guy on packaging for the new boogie board
I didn't know Timmy J was a boogie board superstar?
My camera is officially done. Luckily Meg's mom has two cameras with cords to download pictures so I'm set for a few more days. Check out my sweet hat Riche gave me, my niece Ayda and my awesome mustache.
It's amazing how you forget it's winter in Colorado when you're down here on the beach everyday. It seems like it should at least be spring by now but the downtown webcam shows plenty of snow and arctic like temperatures in Durango.
I haven't heard anything lately about the US Cup, I hope it's still happening. I was also thinking about Trek shutting down it's domestic race program. It seems to me it just switched it from mountain bike racing to road with it's new development team with min phin.
I wonder when my traps are going to stop hurting....
