It sure has been a long time coming to get on the World Cup podium. It's amazing being up there with all those spectators. Super cool.
The race was good for me all the way until the start of the 5th lap. Kabush hit it pretty hard and I started to suffer. Luckily, the climb is pretty short and super technical so you can only really go one speed. The rest of the course is so much fun with tight twisty single track and technical sections. I would compare it to the Phoenix Norba but not quite as rough with a long climb and much more technical.
Now I got a 14 hour flight just to get back to LA from Australia.
I wonder what Winstons' doing right now....
